Why Should You Host A Screening?

The Invisible Class is being released with a from-the-ground-up grass roots approach. That means purposefully not having the film on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. We only make it be available for social minded organizations in community settings. Primarily that means homeless service providers of all kinds. That also includes educational screenings, socially minded businesses, medical facilities, faith based organizations and a few more examples. Partnering directly makes sure our film helps benefit the organization hosting the screening. Benefits can include hosting a donation drive for food, clothing, and hygiene kit drives. New volunteer signups. Fundraisers. General educational for your audience. Not part of an org? Consider finding a local homeless org in your area you can reach out to.

Community based screenings also make each Community screening and Employee Training special and more memorable for those taking part. In addition to screenings, you also have the option of a Q&A with Invisible Class Director Josh Hayes and your audience. Panel discussions are also a great choice. Community screenings can be held in person, online, or a combination of both (hybrid). The film itself is 90 minutes long and can be followed by a 30-60 minute conversation. We have also created a Community Screening Kit (more info below).

In addition to our community based screenings program, we also have an Employee Training Program. This program was created by our homeless service provider partners. An Employee Training includes a private screening(s), a post film discussion with the Director, as well as additional supplemental materials (when desired). Employee Trainings are also often used for new employee hires. Employee Trainings continue to grow in popularity and now almost make up half of our screenings.

Suggested Donations, Screening Kit, and Next Steps

All screenings and employee trainings are suggested donation. That means that while have set amounts we do suggest, an organization can contribute as much as suggested or as little as $0 and still have access to the film. Nobody will ever be turned away from the film for a lack of resources. All donations go to pay the film's monthly bills as well as towards goals like subtitles in additional languages, insurance for the film, theatrical screenings, and more. We can host your screening on our website if desired. Here’s an example of that: Screening Page.

We’ve also developed an all inclusive Community Screening Kit that features a 30 page Event Planning Guide, customizable screening flyers, volunteer signup sheets, a official press releases for your local media, email templates, planning checklists, behind the scenes images, and more. The film is currently available with Spanish subtitles, and we hope to have more languages in the future.

Suggested donation for a Community Screening is $250. To add a Q&A with the Director, it’s an additional $250. Employee Trainings are a suggested donation of $500. All suggested donations are just that, suggested. Nobody will every be turned away from our film due to a lack of resources of any kind. We can also provide an event registration page for you as well.
